Australia’s First Carbon Neutral Digester Cover – Multiple Units in Production

BioCap® is a steel fabricated gas cover installed at the top of anaerobic digesters to manage biogas generated in the digestion process. It is available in both fixed and floating designs.

Hydroflux Epco is currently fabricating two large 14 and 16m diameter fixed covers for separate projects in NSW.

Anaerobic digestion results in the production of biogas from sewage sludge that can be used to generate usable electricity, remove pathogens from sludge and reduce the sludge volumes required for further processing and disposal.

BioCap® is Australia’s first Climate Active Certified Carbon Neutral Digester Gas Cover – the technology is designed and built in Australia with references going back to the 1970’s.
